Landscape & Gardening Coach Jill

Hi, I am Jill Bennett, and I can be your personal landscape and gardening coach.

I am a passionate horticulturist.
This means "an expert in garden cultivation and management". I love what I do!   And I love to do help people with landscape and garden coaching.   I can do it for you!

My knowledge has been developed over 40 years of experience working hands-on in the field of landscaping and being mentored by some of the best professionals in the industry. I have been working in professional, commercial and residential landscaping, landscape maintenance, greenhouse, and retail garden centers for 40 years (I am kind of telling my age here! Haha).  

My Farm.
I lived on a hobby horse farm for 30 of those years as well. On the farm, I was able to garden to my heart's content and I had an amazing landscape. 

My Orchard. 
One thing I really miss is my orchard of Apples, cherries, plums, and pear trees. I planted them as whips and pruned and maintained them till they were overflowing with healthy fruit. I made apple cider, jams, pies, and did some canning. It was just amazing and my horses LOVED the apples as well! I have plenty of knowledge about fruit trees that I would love to share. 

My Love for Nature.
I have ridden my horses thousands of miles through the most incredible wild wildernesses in Wisconsin and beyond. This has instilled in me my love of our native plants and ecosystems and fuels my desire to share this with anyone that will listen! I also love to kayak, fish, hike, camp, and hang out with my beloved dogs in my spare time.

An Artist. 
I am an artist of not only landscaping designs, but I also paint watercolor art. Plus, I am a fabric artist. 

Creative Visualization.
I love to be creative! This really makes it easy for me to see the finished landscape in my head before we even start to make a difference. 

Love to Share What I know.
I have an upbeat, positive, and confident demeanor. I am easy to talk to and I am a great listener. I love to meet people from all walks of life. I have high moral standards and continue to increase my knowledge base every day in all areas of my life. I am a patient and skilled teacher and trainer. I will help you by sharing my knowledge, and giving guidance and encouragement so I can help you grow into a successful gardener!
